More than 250,000 Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries are annually reported in the US, with $17.7 billion costs in rehab treatments. Two former National Football League players who call the “Rose Capital of the World” home partnered with UT Tyler to enhance sports medicine, and the Project Rose Research Institute for Sports Science was born.
